About Ellen Leigh Murray
Broker-Owner Ellen Leigh Murray is a native Charlestonian who followed in her father's footsteps as a real estate broker and investor. It was while living in New York that Ellen developed her real estate acumen, restoring a loft in Chelsea and a chic upper Eastside co-op. These projects were followed by a career move to Los Angeles where she renovated and sold several homes in quick succession. Back home, here in Charleston, Ellen worked for the oldest Broad Street real estate firm before turning her sights to starting her own company, Charleston Premier Properties. If you're wondering just how amazing her knowledge of Charleston and all its areas are, it's that Ellen has renovated and restored historic Charleston homes as well as beach houses and cottages on Folly Beach "the Edge of America". She grew up in West Ashley, where she has sold many homes as well as on James Island and Mt. Pleasant. "To be an excellent real estate agent it requires a keen understanding of the market, attention to detail, and the ability to listen." Ellen is waiting to hear from you what your dream of Charleston will look like!
